Airfield Awards
Below you will find a selection of the airport construction awards IHC has collected during our more than 60 years in business. These awards recognize the best concrete effort in each respective category being judged. This category includes such projects as aprons and runways. Selection is usually based on quality control, complexity, pavement smoothness, and innovation.

We are especially proud of the awards bestowed upon DIA's international runway 34/16, which is the largest commercial precision-instrument runway in North America and can accommodate the new Airbus A-380. The final profilograph smoothness averaged 3.0 inches per mile on the runway and 4.0 on the taxiway.
